Golang Job: Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a (Senior) Golang Software Engineer (all genders) to join our Homescreen & Navigation team. If you are a person aiming to go beyond your limits, and willing to take your career to the next level, this is the right place for you. Your mission:

• Take part in architectural decision making on a platform that is used by millions of people.

• Playing an active role in designing, improving and most importantly securing the overall backend architecture to support massive growth in users and products without compromise.

• Collaborating with cross-functional and international agile teams on showcasing their features on the Homescreen.

• Coaching and mentoring other team members within the squad and outside.

• To practice Domain Driven Development, SOLID Principles and automated/unit tests.

Your heroic skills:

• Solid foundational skills and experience in Golang.

• Experience in building complex, high-quality applications based on containerised microservice architecture in AWS/GCP.

• Good knowledge of databases (SQL and noSQL).

• Proficiency in working with design patterns, principles and best practices in building enterprise applications.

• Familiar with common monitoring / alerting / logging tools such as Datadog.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Ability to build, maintain and run large-scale and high traffic applications.

• Understanding of Domain Driven Development and event-driven design.
